The Move. Tristan.

Wow. I haven't written here in awhile. Not that anyone's following me, but oh well lol. Last day here is June 12th, then moving to Norfolk. Can't wait.

Tristan is in the full swing of the "Terrible Twos" even tho he wont be 2 til June 11th. My God. It's horrible. The tantrums, the "no," the stubbornness. Everything's magnified. He's a little drama queen haha.

Rain, Rain, Go Away!!!!

Rain, rain, rain. The Ohio River is flooded. It's gonna rise another 4 feet soon. It's rained NONSTOP for days!!!! I cant wait til I see sunshine. There was a small break today. We actually had a blue sky - I wasnt sure what it was at first lol.

I'll be going to Norfolk next week. I cant wait! But I'll be driving myself O__o

so i made a blog...

My husband doesn't really belong to me anymore. I'm his mistress, and he's become married to the Navy. From growing up in the Navy Life, I know that Home is Where the Navy Sends You.  Which for myself and our son, will soon be Norfolk, Virginia. Back to the city I was born in.

My dad was in the Navy until I was 16 when he retired after 21 years of service. So I'm pretty much used to the military life - the deployments, the constant transfers, the deployments. But I knew what it was like on the kid side. It's gonna be my 1st taste of what it's like as a wife. At least my experience as a military brat will help me make it easier on our son, because well, I've been thru it. Been there, done that, right? Making homecoming signs, putting stars on a map where Daddy's been, putting stars on a map of where we've been. Telling civi kids that your ID card means you're a secret agent - and they believe you!  The list goes on and on.

(i promise as soon as i figure out how to do a kickass layout, this thing will be better-looking)
