so i made a blog...
My husband doesn't really belong to me anymore. I'm his mistress, and he's become married to the Navy. From growing up in the Navy Life, I know that Home is Where the Navy Sends You. Which for myself and our son, will soon be Norfolk, Virginia. Back to the city I was born in.
My dad was in the Navy until I was 16 when he retired after 21 years of service. So I'm pretty much used to the military life - the deployments, the constant transfers, the deployments. But I knew what it was like on the kid side. It's gonna be my 1st taste of what it's like as a wife. At least my experience as a military brat will help me make it easier on our son, because well, I've been thru it. Been there, done that, right? Making homecoming signs, putting stars on a map where Daddy's been, putting stars on a map of where we've been. Telling civi kids that your ID card means you're a secret agent - and they believe you! The list goes on and on.
(i promise as soon as i figure out how to do a kickass layout, this thing will be better-looking)
